Sylvia has been an employee at E.I. DuPont for 19 years as a Physical Testing Lab Technician.  Additionally, I am the Business Administrator for Wall2Wall Remodeling & Repair LLC.  Sylvia is Blessed to be married to her husband, Tyrus, for 29 years and counting!  Although she has no biological children Sylvia is fortunate to be called Godmother by many. In 2004, The Ladies of Elegance, Inc. was birthed out of a desire to promote the importance of annual health screenings and encourage those diagnosed with cancer and sickle cell disease. Always a social butterfly, she was raised to treat people the way she would want to be treated.  During her free time, Sylvia enjoys shopping, performing group workouts, traveling, spending time with family & friends and relaxing. Sylvia wanted to develop an organization that would be a blessing to the community. Although we may not be able to help or save everyone if we can help or save one or two along the way, it's all worth it!

Sylvia's motto is "Let's Do It Right Or Not At All"

Gwendolyn Bufford.png

Gwendolyn Bufford is the eldest of 3 daughters born to Sarah L. Elliott Deas, in Georgetown, SC. She is retired from the U.S. Navy after 17 1/2 due to an illness (Sarcoidosis). Through her many experiences with her own illness, she is excited about organizations like The Ladies of Elegance, Inc.  (LOE). Their community involvement to help those that become afflicted with Cancer and Sickle Cell, is very near and dear to my heart. My family has been affected by both diseases. My aunt lost the fight to Sickle Cell, and my brother to Lung Cancer. Most recently my mother won her battle with breast cancer, she is now a 7 month survivor. I know it’s because of God’s grace & mercy that she has survived, but also because of organizations like The Ladies of Elegance, Inc..
Gwen enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music and according to many, cooking.
I’m reminded daily, that if I can help someone along the way, then my living will not be in vain. That’s why I’m happy to be associated with The Ladies of Elegance, Inc..
